What do you think of when you think Spring? Baseball, daffodils, tulips, Easter, fresh air, greening grass and trees, outdoor activities, and perhaps even a tax refund. Springtime brings new life into everything around us. You can even sense it in the way people move and talk. Springtime is a wonderful season of transformation!
That’s right. Transformation!! It’s all around us at this time of year. Everything is changing, growing, and becoming more alive. And one thing is for sure, if you’re still using old advertising materials and campaigns from last fall, chances are they’re no longer effective.
So what do you do? You refresh! Refresh your marketing materials, ads and/or digital media to show signs of spring. Alter the colors, incorporate different wording reflective of spring or springtime activities. Altering the colors, wording and perhaps a graphic or two is a quick way to refresh.
But don’t stop there! Look at the calendar. Are there holidays that are conducive integrating into a campaign for your business? Obviously, if you own a flower shop Easter Day and Mother’s Day are already at the top of your mind. But what about if you offer home accessories, boutique clothing, dental services or financial services. How can you incorporate Springtime into your marketing campaigns? Here are a few ideas to help you get started:
- Host a Spring Appreciation Day at your shop.
- Advertise the wonderful investment that tax refund can fund.
- Market gifts or services for the perfect Mom for Mother’s Day.
- Is it time for a spring-cleaning (dental, house, yard, etc.)
Springtime is also full of community activities. Check your community calendar to see what activities you can work into your springtime campaigns. Be creative. Your community offers many opportunities for direct selling, networking, strategic alliances and goodwill.
Spring is a wonderful time, full of energy, life and color. It’s a time of transformation for nature, people and can also be a time of transformation for your business! If you need help refreshing your marketing materials, digital media or campaigns, contact us today at 724-612-0755.
